3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use ToteTracker. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 13 years of age or older. If you are under 13, you may not use this Service.

3.2 Account Creation

To use ToteTracker, you must create an account by providing:

• A valid email address
• A secure password, or sign-in through a supported provider (Google, Apple, or Facebook)

If you sign in with Apple and use Apple's Hide My Email option, the private relay address Apple generates serves as your account email address. See our Privacy Policy for what we receive from each sign-in provider.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4.1 Free Trial

New users are offered a 7-day free trial that does not require a credit card. To start the trial, you must create an account with a verified email address (or sign in with a supported single sign-on provider). The trial gives you the Plus plan for 7 days. When it ends, your account moves to the Free plan (Section 4.2) and keeps everything you added. Because no payment method is collected up front, you will not be charged automatically.

4.2 Plans

ToteTracker offers two plans. The Free plan costs nothing, does not expire, and lets one account keep up to 50 items and 10 containers in one inventory, with 10 Smart Actions each month. It does not include Smart Search, barcode lookup from the monthly allowance, sharing an inventory you own, duplicate detection, or printable shared lists. The Plus plan is a paid subscription at $3.99/month or $39.99/year that raises those limits to 50,000 items and 2,000 containers and includes every feature of the Service. Subscriptions automatically renew based on your chosen billing cycle until canceled.

A Moving Pass is a one-time purchase of the Plus plan for a fixed number of days (90 days for $14.99) together with 500 Smart Actions. It does not renew. Its days are added after any trial, subscription period, or pass you already hold, and the Smart Actions it includes are purchased actions that never expire. When a pass ends, your account moves to the Free plan as described below.

When a Plus subscription ends, your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing you have added is deleted, and you can continue to open, search, edit, and export it; the Service only refuses additions beyond the Free plan's limits until you are within them or subscribe again. Sharing follows the inventory owner's plan: the owner of a shared inventory must hold an active Plus subscription or trial, and the members they invite may use any plan. While the owner is on the Free plan, members cannot access that inventory; access resumes when the owner subscribes again. We may change the Free plan's limits with notice under Section 4.5.

4.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processors: Stripe on the web, Google Play in the Android app, and Apple's App Store in the iOS app. By subscribing, you authorize the applicable processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis; a pass or an action pack is charged once, through the same processor. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and keeping it up to date. See our Privacy Policy for details on payment processing.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time — through the billing portal accessible from your account settings if you subscribed on the web, or through Google Play or the App Store if you subscribed in the mobile app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing. We will provide at least 30 days notice of any price increases. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4.6 Smart Actions

The Plus plan includes 100 Smart Actions per month; the Free plan is topped up to 10Smart Actions per month. Smart Actions power AI-powered features including image analysis and chat assistance. Smart Actions are tied to your own account: when you use an AI feature within a shared inventory, the actions are deducted from your balance, not from the inventory owner's.

Rollover Policy:

• On Plus, up to 100 monthly Smart Actions roll over to the next billing cycle; the Free plan's monthly Smart Actions do not roll over
• Purchased action packs roll over indefinitely and never expire, on either plan
• Monthly actions are consumed before purchased actions; on the Free plan, barcode lookups are paid only from purchased actions

Action consumption rates:

• Single-item image analysis: 1 action
• Multi-item scan: 3 actions per photo, regardless of how many items are detected
• Receipt import: 1 action per receipt, regardless of how many lines it has
• Iris chat: billed on each reply's actual usage, not a flat rate
• Barcode Lookup: 1 action per successful lookup
• Reading a serial plate photo: 1 action
• Voice transcription: No action charge

We reserve the right to modify action consumption rates with 30 days notice. AI features may be unavailable when actions are exhausted until the next billing cycle or additional actions are purchased.

6.1 Your Data

You retain ownership of all content you upload to ToteTracker, including item descriptions, images, and organizational structures. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

When you add content to a shared inventory, that content becomes part of that inventory and is visible to and editable by all of its members. If you leave or are removed from a shared inventory you do not own, the content you contributed remains in that inventory. If you delete your account, your contributions to inventories you do not own are reassigned to each inventory's owner rather than deleted, so the other members' records stay intact. If you own a shared inventory, you may transfer it to another member; when you delete your account you may first need to transfer or delete the inventories you own, and any inventory that is deleted is removed in full for all of its members.

6.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You represent that you have the necessary rights to upload and use any content in the Service, including photos and descriptions.

6.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable, though we are not obligated to monitor user content.
